Heartland Volunteer Day

The Heartland team recently traded our desks for garden gloves and spent the day volunteering at Marra Farm’s Giving Garden with Solid Ground.
It was a great opportunity to step away from our daily work, get our hands dirty, and support an organization helping improve access to fresh, healthy food in our community. Also, it was a great reminder that building stronger communities happens in many ways, both through our professional work and through service.
Thank you to everyone who helped organize the day and to the team for showing up ready to work, learn, and contribute.
